The Half-Marathon Xduro Challenge will take place along cliffs, mountains and mineland overlooking the Susquehanna River near the scenic town of Mocanaqua. The course will utilize well marked portions of single track trails, dirt roads and fire roads. Portions of the course will pass through barren stretches of unreclaimed mine land while other portions will make you feel lost in the wilderness. The site is 20 minutes from I-81 via Route 29 and Route 11. Amenities include bathrooms, fresh water, and picnicking. Parking is plentiful and small restaurants and concessions are located in Mocanaqua, Shickshinny and neighboring towns. See the park website for directions.
