Visit State Park Website
The races start at 10:00am with on-site registration beginning at 9:00am. Look for the Xterra signs near the amphitheater to access the registration and start finish area.
Hickory Run State Park is one of the most beautiful in Pennsylvania. Runners will be challenged by stream crossings and sections of rocky single track. The courses descend to the Lehigh River, pass along miles of trout stream, encounter numerous waterfalls, woodland meadows, and unique rhododendron tunnels. Amenities include concessions, camping, bathrooms and fresh water. Half marathon runners can access one aid station with water, Gatorade, gels and light snacks. Hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone at the finish!!
Parking is plentiful at the park but limited at the starting area. Overflow parking is by the beach with a short walk through the woods to the starting line and registration area.
CAMPING: Camping is plentiful at Hickory Run; however this is Memorial Day weekend. There will be tons of family activities at the park but campsites may sell out! Register early for camping.
RAFTING: There is a whitewater release planned for race day on the Lehigh River. Why not finish the race and hit the river! information is at http://www.poconowhitewater.com/
